API 13A Drilling Grade Barite is a high-purity natural barium sulfate powder specially produced as a standard weighting agent for oil, gas and geothermal drilling mud systems. Strictly manufactured in full compliance with API 13A industry specifications, this barite powder features high specific gravity, stable particle size distribution, low impurity content and excellent chemical inertness, which makes it the most reliable density control material for water-based and oil-based drilling fluids.

Our API barite mainly reaches SG ≥4.20, the most popular grade for international drilling projects. It effectively increases mud density, balances downhole formation pressure, prevents well kick and blowout, stabilizes wellbore walls, and cools drilling bits during drilling operations. With controlled fine particle proportion and low water-soluble alkaline earth metals, our barite will not cause mud flocculation, thickening or performance failure, ensuring long-term stable rheology of drilling mud.

All batches are inspected strictly according to API testing standards, with complete COA test reports and support third-party SGS/BV inspection. Available packaging includes 25kg woven bags and 1000kg jumbo bags for bulk export.
